A week of work, laid out so nobody has to ask.
A focused workspace for small teams planning, shipping and learning.
Three things a team looks at every day
Acorn keeps the plan, the week's news and the numbers in one place, so nobody has to ask where the work stands.
-
Projects
Each project holds its plan, its files and the people doing the work. Anyone on the team can open it and read the last three weeks without asking permission first.
-
Updates
Every Friday Acorn asks each project for two lines and posts them together on Monday morning. Nobody writes a status report twice, and the archive keeps four years of them.

Insights
Cycle time, carry-over and where the week actually went, drawn from work that was already logged. There is no separate timesheet to fill in on a Friday afternoon.
How teams use Acorn
We run a studio of eleven and we had four planning tools. Acorn replaced three of them in a fortnight and the fourth by Easter.
The Monday digest is the part that stuck. Our engineers read it, which is more than anyone did with the old wiki page.
I can see which projects are quietly slipping before a client does. That alone has been worth the subscription.
Bring a project across this week
The first thirty days cost nothing, and so does every team of four or fewer.
